SHRAAD-Its time to remember our pitra paksh

 

There are very few people know. But it is very important to know these things before performing the Shraddha, because many times the ancestors curse even for not doing the ritualistic rituals. Today we are telling you some special things related to Shradh, which are as follows-

1- Cow’s ghee, milk or curd should be used in Shraddhkarma. Keep in mind that it has been more than ten days since the cow was born. The milk of a cow that gives birth to a calf within ten days should not be used in Shraddha Karma.
2- The use and donation of silver utensils in Shraddha is not only beneficial but it is also considered to destroy the demons. If only water is given in silver vessel for fathers, then it is a renewable satiety. For fathers, Arghya, Pind and food utensils are also considered superior if they are of silver.
3- In Shraddha, while serving food to the Brahmin, the serving utensils should be held with both hands, the demons snatch the food served from the food vessel brought with one hand.
4- The Brahmin should eat food silently and without praising the dishes because the ancestors take food only as long as the Brahmins eat food silently.
5. In addition to the main date, those who have been killed by ancestral weapons etc., should also perform Chaturdashi. They are happy with this. Should be performed in secret. Due to the sight of ordinary or lowly humans on the body, he does not reach the ancestors.
6- It is necessary to provide food to a Brahmin in Shraddha, a person who performs Shraddha Karma without Brahmin, does not eat ancestral food in his house, curses and returns. A person is a monk by a Brahmin inferior shraddh.
7- Use of barley, congee, buttercream is best in Shraddh. Shraddha becomes renewable when the quantity of sesame is high. In fact, mole protects Shraddha from vampires. Kushas (a type of grass) protect from demons.
8 – Shraddh should not be done on other’s land. Forests, mountains, Punyatirtha and temples are not considered as the land of others because they are not considered to be owned by anyone. Therefore, shraddh can be done at these places.
9- Humans should not think while choosing a Brahmin in Devakarya, but should choose only a Brahmin who is qualified in the ancestral work, because in the Shraddha, the fulfillment of the ancestors is done by the Brahmins.
10- The person who does not give food to his sister, son-in-law and sister-in-law living in the same city for some reason in the Shraddha, does not accept food with ancestors as well as ancestors.
11- If any beggar comes while doing shradh, he should have food respectfully. The person who drives away the yatra at such a time, his shraadh karma is not considered complete and its fruit is also destroyed.
12- On Shukla Paksha, one should never perform Shraddha at night, on couple days (sum of two dates on the same day) and on his birthday. According to religious texts, the evening time is for the demons, this time is condemned for all actions. Therefore, do not perform Shraddhakaram even in the evening.
13- Happy ancestors in Shraddha give sons, wealth, knowledge, age, health, cosmic happiness, salvation and heaven to humans. For Shraddha, Krishnapaksha is considered superior to Shuklapaksha.
14- Night is considered to be a demonic time. Therefore, one should not perform Shraddha Karma at night. Do not perform Shraddhakaram even during both the evenings. In the eighth Muhurta (Qutapkal) of the day, donations made to fathers are renewable.
15- It is important to have these things in Shraadh- Ganges water, milk, honey, dahitra, kush and sesame. Shraadh food is prohibited on banana leaves. Gold, silver, bronze, copper vessels are excellent. In the absence of these, plates can be used.
16- Pitris are pleased with Tulsi. There is a religious belief that Pitrugan rides on Garuda and goes to Vishnu Loka. The ancestors remain satisfied till the Holocaust by worshiping the ingot with Tulsi.
17- Asanas of silk, blanket, wool, wood, straw, leaf, cushion etc. are excellent. Iron should not be used in any form in the posture.
18- Chana, masoor, urad, kulathi, sattu, radish, black cumin, kachanar, cucumber, black urad, black salt, gourd, big mustard, black mustard leaf and stale, unholy fruits or food grains are prohibited.
19- According to Bhavishya Purana, there are 12 types of Shraddha, which are as follows-
1- Nitya, 2- Naimittik, 3- Kamya, 4- Growth, 5- Sapindana, 6- Parvana, 7- Consort, 8- Shuddhartha, 9- Karmang, 10- Divine, 11- Yatraarth, 12- Pushtayarth
